Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service, but the food just what not as exceptional as I hoped for. Perhaps the chef who made my pasta that evening was having an off day. The meals they serve are plentiful and one will definitely have left overs to enjoy at home. Restaurant is rather busy during snow bird season and parking is a bit of a challenge. Gorgeous bar where I am sure great convo takes place.
Mario’s Osteria in Boca Raton delivered a memorable dining experience from start to finish. The snapper franchise was outstanding, full of flavor, and beautifully complemented by a side of spinach that balanced the dish nicely. We also had the tuna carpaccio, which was fresh, delicate, and expertly seasoned, setting a high bar right from the beginning of the meal. Dessert was just as impressive, with both the red velvet cake and the spumoni providing a sweet and satisfying finale. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the service. Our waiter, Eddie , was phenomenal—warm, professional, and exceptionally attentive without ever being intrusive. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the experience feel special.
I've been here several times now and I am never disappointed. The first time we went for happy hour and sat at a high top and the food and drinks were plentiful and at a real value. They have a large happy hour menu. Second time we sat outside and had a more formal dinner that was delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced along with a very good bottle of wine. On our last visit, we popped in after the movies and shared a pizza which we both agreed was the best we've had in South Florida to date. Tons of pepperoni, and GOOD pepperoni. Service is always great and the atmosphere is cozy and eclectic, while someone noisy.
We had an amazing first experience at Mario’s. We’ve driven past it many times but finally decided to dine. The menu is extensive with options for everyone. My wife had veal parm and I had the snapper specialty. The manager also made us aware of their daily happy hour which we were too late for but it sounds like a great special. The restaurant was super busy and staff friendly and helpful with the menu and recommendations. We found a new favorite Italian spot.
